Will it snow?

Pick a city for two honest answers: whether snow is in the official forecast this week, and how often it has actually snowed there. US forecasts are the National Weather Service's own; the climate figures are NOAA's 1991–2020 normals for each city's official weather station. UK pages link the Met Office forecast and show Met Office snow and ice warnings, with frost averages from Met Office open station data.

Questions

Will it snow in my city this week?

Pick your city. For US cities the first sentence says whether snow is in the National Weather Service's 7-day forecast and which periods mention it. For UK cities the page links the Met Office forecast and shows any Met Office snow or ice warning for the region.

How often does it snow in each city?

US figures are NOAA's 1991–2020 climate normals for each city's official weather station, plus the share of the winters from 1991–92 to 2020–21 that had measurable snow. UK figures are days of air frost from the Met Office's open historic station data, where a station is within 30 km.

Is this a snow warning?

No. This site does not issue warnings or predict snow. It repeats the official forecast and the long-run record. For warnings, follow the National Weather Service or the Met Office.
