Reporting an error

If you find an error — in an article, a historical figure, a country description or displayed data — please report it via the contact form with the page URL and the issue. We review all reports.

How we correct

• Editorial errors: corrected promptly; materially significant corrections are noted on the article with an updated date.
• Historical figures: re-checked against cited sources; entries are updated with revised citations where needed.
• Live data errors: live values come from source agencies and are corrected upstream; we can hide clearly erroneous records and report issues to the source. The record remains linked to the original agency report.

Timeframes

We aim to review reports within a few business days; safety-relevant errors are prioritized.
