- Orange. The weather is dangerous. Unusual phenomena are forecast and damage and casualties are likely. Be very vigilant and keep up to date.
- Red. The weather is very dangerous. Exceptionally intense phenomena are forecast and major damage and accidents are likely, in many cases with threat to life over a wide area. Follow the advice of the authorities.
What this page shows
Warnings issued by each country's national weather service and published through MeteoAlarm, the warning network of EUMETNET. This site reads the MeteoAlarm feeds in rotation and stores warnings rated Moderate (Yellow), Severe (Orange) and Extreme (Red); a warning counts as in force until its own expiry time, and when a service updates a warning only the newest version is shown. Local flood, avalanche and civil-protection warnings outside MeteoAlarm are not included. This site does not issue warnings: follow your national weather service and local authorities.

Why is a warning I see on meteoalarm.org missing here?
Three reasons. This site reads each country's MeteoAlarm feed in rotation, so a new warning can take several minutes to appear. It stores only warnings rated Moderate or above, and some services issue some Yellow warnings as Minor. And when a service updates a warning, only its newest version is shown. meteoalarm.org and the national weather service are always the reference.
