Yes. As of 19 Oct 2026, 19:49 BST (18:49 UTC), National Grid Electricity Distribution lists 21 power cuts in its four regions (East Midlands, West Midlands, South West England and South Wales), with 896 customers off (221 confirmed, 675 predicted). This page reads National Grid Electricity Distribution's live list every five minutes and covers its area only. Anywhere else, check your own network operator's power cut page (listed on this page) or call 105.

Which areas does this page show live?

Only National Grid Electricity Distribution's four areas: the East Midlands, the West Midlands, South West England and South Wales. It is the only network operator that publishes its live power cuts as open data that may be reused. UK Power Networks, SSEN, SP Energy Networks, Northern Powergrid, Electricity North West and NIE Networks are linked, not read.

What does ETR mean on a power cut?

ETR is the estimated time of restoration: when the network operator expects power back. It is an estimate and often changes as engineers find the fault. Where it has passed without the cut being cleared, this page says so.

Why is my power cut not listed?

It may not be reported yet, it may be in another operator's area, or the list may not have caught up: National Grid updates it every few minutes. Report it on 105. Faults inside your home (a tripped switch in the fuse box) are not network power cuts.
