At 02:20 on October 4, 2026, the Hekou County Meteorological Observatory and Hekou County Water Affairs Bureau jointly issued a Level III warning for flash flood disaster risk: Due to the impact of local heavy rainfall, it is expected that there is a high possibility of flash floods and small and medium-sized river floods in Nanxi Town and Hekou Town of our county in the next 3 hours. Relevant units and departments are requested to strengthen the inspection of key areas such as flash flood hidden danger points, rivers, ditches, dams and ponds within their jurisdiction, do a good job in prevention and emergency response, and decisively transfer dangerous people if necessary.
