At 17:28 on October 17, 2026, the Natural Resources Bureau and the Meteorological Bureau of Lanxian County jointly issued a yellow warning signal for geological and meteorological risks. The warning areas include Dongcun Town, Shangming Township, Jiehekou Town, Lancheng Town, Shunhui Township, Shishi Township, Liangjiazhuang Township, Puming Town, and Wangshi Township. Affected by strong precipitation, it is expected that the meteorological risk warning level for geological disasters in some areas within the warning zone will be level 3 (yellow) in the next 24 hours; Please ask the governments, departments, and residents of the above-mentioned regions to take corresponding emergency measures according to the warning level; Yellow warning: There is a high risk of sudden geological disasters caused by meteorological factors. It is important to identify, inspect, and monitor potential hazards at least twice a day, especially on the slopes in front and behind the house. If any danger is found, timely avoidance measures should be taken. Warning start time: 20:00 on October 17th. Relevant departments are requested to carry out geological disaster prevention and control work.
