On October 21, 2026, the Kaiyang County Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for lightning: it is expected that there will be lightning activity in Shuangliu, Hefeng, Nanjiang, Chengqu, Nanlong, Longgang, Gaozhai, Maoyun, Fengsan, Huali, Jinzhong, Yongwen, Miping, Longshui, Nanmudu, and Zhaiji in our county in the next 6 hours. Thunderstorms may be accompanied by short-term heavy rainfall, strong winds, and other strong convective weather.
