The low-pressure cell over the Andaman Sea is expected to move into the Bay of Bengal with the easterly wind prevails over Thailand and the Gulf. Meanwhile the high-pressure system from China covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Less and isolated heavy rains are forecast in the South while isolated thundershowers with gust are possible in the upper country especially in the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity and the East.
People in the areas should beware of gusty wind, heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands.
In the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves will be higher than 2 meters high in thundershower areas. All ships should keep off thundershowers.
