At 16:54 on October 21, 2026, the Barikun Kazakh Autonomous County Meteorological Observatory upgraded the yellow warning signal for strong winds to an orange warning signal for strong winds: it is expected that from the afternoon to the night of the 21st, gusts of up to 10 levels will occur in Dahongliu Gorge, Xialaoba, Borqiangji, Haiziyan, and the southern mountainous areas of the town; Gusts of around 11 levels are expected in the areas of Kuisu, Salchok, and Santanghu.
